We are based in Colombo with a branch office in Katunayaka and are backed by the experience of United Logistics, a decade-strong presence in the logistics industry. User Agreement

The following Terms and Conditions govern your use of our website and the services we offer, including inbound tours (leisure, educational, honeymoon, etc.), unique hotels, comfortable transport facilities, experienced guides, and location tracking service for your security purposes. Throughout these Terms and Conditions, “Reliance Tours” is referred to as “Reliance Tours”, “we,” “us,” or “our”. The term “you” refers to the customer visiting our website, booking a reservation through us, or otherwise utilizing our services. By accessing or using our website or services, you confirm that:


  • You are at least 18 years old (or the legal age to enter a binding contract in your location) and have the full legal capacity to use our services.
  • You agree to use our website and services per these Terms and Conditions and all applicable laws and regulations.
  • You are responsible for providing accurate and complete information when booking tours or tickets, including names (as mentioned in the passport), contact details, and any necessary travel documents.

Products and Suppliers

Reliance Tours acts as a travel intermediary, carefully selecting reliable and reputable travel suppliers, such as hotels, transportation companies, activity providers, and ticketing agencies. We strive to ensure that all components of your chosen tour or service meet high-quality standards and deliver exceptional value. Please note that these suppliers have terms and conditions that apply to your specific bookings. While we strive to provide accurate information and pricing, be aware that certain suppliers may impose additional charges after purchase due to increases in costs, government fees, or currency fluctuations. It is important to understand that we are not directly responsible for the

acts or omissions of any third-party supplier and that we may need to adjust your final payment accordingly. However, we assure you that we will work diligently to address any concerns you may have and ensure a smooth travel experience.

Payment Terms

To secure your chosen Reliance Tours experience, the following payment terms apply:

  • Advance Payment: A 30% advance of the total cost is required immediately to confirm the chosen tour package.
  • Progress Payments: 50% of the total cost is due 15 days prior to the arrival date.
    100% of the total cost is due 7 days prior to the arrival date.
    You may choose your preferred payment schedule: either 15 days prior to arrival or 07 days prior to arrival.

  • Payment Notification: All payments must be notified by email with attached transaction details for verification.

  • Changes in Booking: Any changes to your travel arrangements will be subject to our standard service fees, above any additional charges imposed by the specific supplier involved.

  • Price Changes: Reliance Tours reserves the right to adjust payment terms at any given time. We will notify you of any changes before your booking is confirmed. Note that suppliers may adjust prices even after full payment prior to the tour which will be reflected in your final invoice.

Safe & Secure Booking

At Reliance Tours, your security is our priority. We utilize secure payment gateways for all credit card users and verify all booking details to minimize the risk of fraud.

  • The cardholder names will be verified against passports, booking details, and credit cards upon arrival.
  • The cardholder used for booking must be part of the traveling party, especially for online bookings.
  • The cardholder is required to present the credit card used for booking at check-in. Transactions will be reversed if the card is not presented.

    Reliance Tours reserves the right to pursue legal action against any fraudulent transactions as identified by credit card companies.

Cancellations and Charges

In the unfortunate event, that you need to cancel your travel arrangements, please notify us as soon as possible in writing via email as Cancellation fees will apply depending on the time of cancellation:

Cancellation Processing: Cancellation requests are processed based on the date they are received by Reliance Tours via email.

Policy Updates: Reliance Tours reserves the right to modify the cancellation policy at any time.

Refund Policy

Refund Policy – Transfer to Travel Voucher: With prior verification from Reliance Tours, you may transfer your tour package refund to a travel voucher for future use.

Refund Processing: Original vouchers are required for any refund consideration and if your refund is approved, the amount will be credited back to your original payment method (credit card, etc.) within a designated timeframe.

Booking Amendments/Cancellations by Suppliers

While we act promptly to inform you of any supplier cancellations or amendments to your booking, we hold no liability for resulting changes or costs. You may choose to accept the changes, explore alternatives offered by the supplier, or cancel and seek applicable refunds (subject to supplier terms). Please note that any flight schedule changes will be notified to you by email.

Travel Documents & Destinations

Please ensure you have all necessary travel documents, such as a valid passport and any required visas, for your trip. Visa requirements can vary depending on your nationality and destination. We recommend checking with governmental advisories for your international destinations well in advance of your travel date to obtain the latest visa information. Reliance Tours is not liable for any delays or denied entry due to missing or invalid travel documents.

Passport, Visa & Immigration Requirements

We strongly advise you to carefully review the passport, visa, and immigration requirements for your chosen destination. Reliance Tours cannot be held responsible for any delays or denied entry due to missing or invalid travel documents.

Travel Insurance

Unexpected events like illness, trip cancellation, or lost luggage can disrupt your travel plans. To safeguard yourself against such unforeseen circumstances, we highly recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance to avoid such disruptions. Reliance Tours can assist you with travel insurance by providing quotes, answering your questions, and helping you find a plan that suits your needs.

Breakages & Damages

You are responsible for any breakages, losses, or damage you or members of your party cause to their accommodations during their stay. This includes settling the cost of repairs or replacements directly with the supplier before departure. Additionally, you agree to indemnify Reliance Tours against any losses, damages, or claims arising from such incidents.

Behavior

To ensure a positive experience for everyone, Reliance Tours expects all participants to be respectful towards staff, fellow travelers, and locals. This includes following local laws, respecting cultural norms, adhering to tour itineraries, and refraining from disruptive behavior. Failure to comply may result in the termination of your tour without a refund.

Medical Advice

Reliance Tours does not provide medical advice. It is your responsibility to consult with your doctor before traveling to ensure you are in good health and have received any necessary vaccinations for your chosen destination. We recommend discussing any pre-existing medical conditions with your doctor and obtaining any required medical documentation for travel.

Amendment

Reliance Tours reserves the right to amend these Terms at any given time without prior notice. The amended Terms will be posted on our website and will be effective immediately upon posting. It is your responsibility to review the Terms periodically for any updates.

Force Majeure

Reliance Tours shall not be liable for any delay or inability to perform its obligations under these Terms due to an event of Force Majeure. A Force Majeure event is defined as any event beyond the reasonable control of Reliance Tours, including but not limited to acts of God, natural disasters, political unrest, war, terrorism, strikes, airline cancellations, or any other unforeseen circumstance that makes it impractical or impossible for Reliance Tours to fulfill its obligations under these Terms.

Accepting Terms & Conditions

By using our services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. You are also deemed to have accepted the terms and conditions of any relevant third-party suppliers whose services are included in your chosen tour or ticket. You also acknowledge financial responsibility for your reservation and confirm the accuracy of all information provided. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.
