Day 1 - BIA | Colombo
Upon arrival at Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA), you’ll be warmly greeted by your guide from Reliance Tours. After a friendly introduction and a traditional Sri Lankan “Ayubowan!” (meaning “may you live long”), your guide will assist you to your vehicle. If needed, there’s an opportunity to conveniently exchange currency at the airport, as banks are open 24/7. From there, we’ll make our way to Negombo, a charming beach town just 10km away from the airport. Negombo offers a range of accommodation options, restaurants, and a vibrant local community, making it an ideal place to start your Sri Lankan adventure. Overnight stay at your hotel in Negombo.
Day 2 - Negambo | Sigiriya
After breakfast, we’ll head towards Sigiriya, home to fascinating ancient historical sites. Sigiriya’s iconic rock fortress rises dramatically from the central plains, offering breathtaking views and insights into Sri Lanka’s rich heritage. En route, we’ll visit the Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage, providing an opportunity to witness the gentle giants up close. Overnight stay at your hotel in Sigiriya.
Day 3 - Sigiriya | Kandy
Journey to Kandy
Following breakfast, we’ll depart for Kandy, one of Sri Lanka’s most sacred cities, renowned for the revered Temple of the Tooth Relic. Along the way, we’ll visit the Dambulla Golden Cave Temple, a UNESCO World Heritage site, and the Matale Spice Garden, where you can immerse yourself in the fragrant world of spices. Upon arrival in Kandy, check-in at your hotel and enjoy leisure time for the remainder of the day. Optionally, you can experience the vibrant Cultural Dance performance, held daily around 5:30 PM at the temple. Overnight stay at your hotel in Kandy.
Day 4 - Kandy | BIA
