Day 1: BIA | Kandy

On your arrival, our representative will receive you and transfer you Kandy, the most venerated city of Sri Lana where Lord Buddha’s Tooth Relic calls home. This is approximately three hours’ drive. Upon check-in at the hotel, spend some relaxing time on your first day during the Ramayana Tour of Sri Lanka. In the evening, pay homage to the Temple of Tooth Relic and observe the centuries old rituals of Buddhist worshipers.

Day 2: Kandy | Nuwaraeliya

After breakfast, drive towards Nuwara Eliya, the Tea capitol of Sri Lanka which is a 3 ½ hours’ drive. On your way, visit Shri Bhaktha Hanuman Temple in Ramboda. According to the legend, this is where Hanuman searched for Sita in the jungles above and behind the temple. Bhaktha Hanuman Temple is an important place in Ramayana Tour of Sri Lanka.

Nuwara Eliya, visit Seetha Amman Temple of Nuwara Eliya, the place believed to be to be the exact place where Sita was held captive by the demon-king Ravana in the Lanka of the epic, Ramayana. Myth has it that Sita, the wife of King Rama, was imprisoned in the Ashoka forests of the region. The temple trustees believe that this is no myth and that Sita's imprisonment at this spot is a historical fact. Any Indian, must visit Sita Amman Temple during their Ramayana Tour of Sri Lanka.

Then visit Asoka Vatika, now known as Hakgala Botanical Garden, it says Sri Lankan demon King Ravana after abducting Sita, kept her hidden in this area and area was offered to Sita as a pleasure garden, Hakgala Gardens mentioned in the Ramayana as Ashok Vatika. Day 3: Nuwaraeliya | Bentota

After breakfast, transfer to Bentota which is 4 hours away. You could take part in a boat trip in Bentota River, enjoy various water sports such as jet skiing, banana boat rides and water drag boats on your own. Or just relax by the beach.

Day 4: Bentota | Colombo | BIA

Colombo, Sri Lanka’s commercial capital is its only true city. It lays one hour’s drive south of the Bandaranaike International Airport and stretches about 12 km along the coast from the Fort area in the north to its southern beach suburb of Mount Lavinia. It is a convenient hub for the start or end of any visit to Sri Lanka. This day you will get the chance to visit the city of Colombo.

Now that you are at the end of your journey with us, Chauffeur will be comfortable take you to the international airport in time for your departure flight.
